Subject: clone & rename virtual domino server
Feedback Type: Question
Product Area: Domino Server
Technical Area: Install
Platform: Linux client - RHEL
Release: 8.5.1
Reproducible: Not applicable

Hallo!!

Due to our security standard i can't open http port to grant webmail access to the domino server in the LAN.

I will install a second domino server in DMZ (as I did in the R5 environment for pop3 access) and make replicas of mail databases for external users.

It was a big work the server CentoS configuration so i was thinking to create a clone of the internal server and reconfigure for DMZ.

I think a roadmap like this:
1) clone virtual machine
2) change the hostname and ip address
3) remove nfs files
4) clear the notes.ini file
5) register a new server.id
6) launch the server configurator
[root@ric1 ~]# su notesuser
[notesuser@ric1 root]$ cd /usr/local/notesdata/
[notesuser@ric1 notesdata]$ /opt/ibm/lotus/bin/server

Did i forget something?
